Taking a tiny idea that started in 2018 to total fruition by launching Girls Inc. of Greater Miami.  Hobbies: Running, cycling, boxing, pickleball, reading.  Recent travel or adventure: Lebanon!  Last book read: Man’s Search for Meaning, by Victor Frankl.  Recently viewed and recommended: Yellowstone, White Lotus, Succession, Maid, Dopesick.  Recent unique acquisition: Frank the Tank, the greatest cat in the world.  Material things you're not ashamed to love: My jeep, my dogs, my cat, a great glass of wine.

Personality profile: Energetic, creative, ridiculously optimistic.  What one word would your closest friend use to describe you? Passionate.  Moral compass: Do the right thing.  Period. What is your greatest joy? Toes in the sand, sun on my skin.  What is your greatest fear? Alexa drops me.  What is at the top of your bucket list? Ibiza.

What book have you repeatedly read? Do people really do that?  What’s featured prominently on your home or office wall? A Harry Benson photo of Bruce Springsteen while recording We Are the World.  Who has had the greatest influence on your life? A close relative who taught me how not to be.  What is the best advice you received growing  up? Get a law degree.  What modern technology innovation do you most appreciate? Alexa.  She’s my BFF.  What is your go-to source of creative inspiration? Running.  I solve the world’s problems on a good run. What company or organization do you most admire? Maui Jim.  I sent them my glasses for repair after my dog chewed them.  They repaired them and sent a dog treat for my dog.

The founding of Strong Girls, Inc.

What change are you working on to effect in your profession or field? Education and career equity for girls in Miami.  What change would you like to see in the world? More women leading countries.  We get sh*t done and know how to deal with toddler-like tantrums.  What message do you want to send out into the world? To women: you don’t have to choose, you can have it all. What widely held belief do you reject? You can’t teach an old dog new tricks. What mega-trend most excites you? AI.  What mega-trend most concerns you? AI.

What title would you choose for the movie about your life? She Went for It. What actor would you choose to play you in the movie about your life? Sandra Bullock.  What object would you first save from your burning home? My dogs.  How would you choose to spend tomorrow, if you knew it was your last day on earth? On the beach, preferably with my family, dogs and cat. What advice would you give your younger self? Not every challenge deserves your attention. What period in your life would you do differently, if you could? My college years.
