Hobbies: Gardening, wine tasting and travel.  Pets: Our three foster kitties Cali, Shelly and Maui; plus Cleo, the matriarch, and Louie.

What one word would your closest friend use to describe you? Loyal.  Moral compass: Trust my gut and always tell the truth.  What is your greatest joy? My husband and our two wonderful adult children.  What is your greatest fear? Heights.  What is your guilty pleasure? Mindless TV. How do you relieve stress? Gardening, yoga and working out.  What ingredient is essential to your perfect vacation? Friends and family.  What is your favorite place to get away? California central coast.

What was your first paying job? As a bookkeeper.  What was your favorite childhood toy or game? Jigsaw puzzles.  What’s prominently featured on your home or office wall? Photographs taken by my husband.  Besides your parents, who has had the greatest influence on your life? My grandparents and in-laws.  What’s the best advice you received growing up? Always be the best that you can be.  What modern technology innovation do you most appreciate? The internet.  It’s a love/hate relationship.  

What are the most important traits of an ideal corporate culture?

Trust and collaboration.

What world event has had the greatest influence on your life? Professionally, the Dot Com crash.  What personal circumstance has had the greatest influence on your life? My family owned a retail business where I spent a lot of time growing up.

What change are you working on to effect in your profession or field? Process optimization for scale and leverage.  What change would you like to see in the world? Less conflict.

As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? A teacher.  After your loved ones, what object would you first save from your burning home? Photos and my grandmother’s rings. How would you choose to spend tomorrow, if you knew it was your last day on earth? With Craig and our kids, doing whatever gives them joy.  What advice would you give your younger self? Eat healthy and enjoy exercise.
