Starting my own pension administration business.  Hobbies: Carpentry and landscaping.  Recent travel or adventure: Paris during the Olympics.  Last book read: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, by Suzanne Collins.  Recently viewed and recommended: Black Mirror (Netflix).

How do you define an ideal business relationship? Advice and time is respected and, in turn, achieving your client’s goals are foremost.  What is your greatest joy? Watching my children grow and succeed in life.  What is your greatest fear? Letting down my family and my employees. What is your guilty pleasure? Playing Call of Duty.  What occupation, other than your own, do you most admire? Musicians.  I love how they can create something from nothing.  What is at the top of your bucket list? Planning a trip to Ireland with the family and my brother’s family. How do you relieve stress? Exercise and working out.  What ingredient is essential to your perfect vacation? Relaxation.

What was your favorite childhood toy or game? Atari game system.  What book have you repeatedly read? Lord of the Rings Trilogy, by J.R.R Tolkien.  What movie have you repeatedly watched? Forest Gump.  Besides your parents, who has had the greatest influence on your life? My wife.  She is kind and loving and a great mom.  What’s the best advice you received growing up? Believe in yourself.  What’s the best advice you received in your career? Listen more than speak.  What is your go-to source of news and information? Bloomberg.

What change would you like to see in the world?

Tolerance. I don’t see why people feel the need to impose their beliefs on others.

What widely held belief do you reject? That looking out for #1 is the way to live.  What mega-trend most excites you? Technological innovation.  What mega-trend most concerns you? People being replaced by machines.

Who would you like to spend an evening with, in heaven? My mother.  As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? A soldier.  After your loved ones, what object would you first save from your burning home? Pictures of the family.  How would you choose to spend tomorrow, if you knew it was your last day on earth? With my children and wife at the beach playing games.   What advice would you give your younger self? Save earlier.
