Personality profile: Intense focus, quick wit, driven.  What one word would your closest friend use to describe you? Unconventional.  How do you define a perfect friendship? Shared interests and values, reciprocal candor and understanding.  How do you define an ideal business relationship? Trust and transparency.  What is your greatest joy? My two children.  What natural talent have you neglected? Creative writing.

What is your big idea? Reconstructing trade commerce from factory to consumer.  What change would you like to see in the world? Less politicization.  What mega-trend most excites you? Blockchain.  What mega-trend most concerns you? The politicization of everything dividing humanity across identity lines.

What title would you choose for the movie about your life? The Why.  Who would you like to spend an evening with, in Heaven? Frank Sinatra.  As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? A record executive.  What object would you save first from your burning home? My children's stuffies, no question. What advice would you give your younger self? Work smarter.  What day in your life would you like to re-live? My engagement to my wife, in Paris.
