What was your first paying job? Grocery clerk. What’s prominently featured on your home or office wall? Family photos and a picture of a lion and a buffalo. Besides your parents, who has had the greatest influence on your life? My grandparents; they showed me what safety and family looked like. What’s the best advice you received growing up? There is no “I can’t” in this family. What is your go-to source of news and information? The Wall Street Journal.
What is your big idea? Success isn’t what you accumulate; it’s who you become, who you serve and the lives you impact along the way. What change would you like to see in the world? More people choosing faith, family and genuine human connection. What message do you want to send out into the world? Your past does not have to dictate your future. Keep growing, keep serving, keep believing and never stop becoming the person you were meant to be. What mega-trend most excites you? AI and the intersection of technology and personalized financial advice.
What title would you choose for the movie about your life? Relentless. Who would you like to spend an evening with, in heaven? My mom. I’d give anything for one more dinner, one more conversation and one more chance to tell her I love her. As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? An actor. What advice would you give your younger self? Stop trying so hard to prove your worth. Believe in yourself, trust God and understand that the hardest chapters of your life will eventually become part of your strength. What day in your life would you choose to re-live? The birth of my first son; becoming a father changed what life meant to me.
