Teaching a high school class.  Hobbies: Kitesurfing and farming.

What one word would your closest friend use to describe you? Loyal.  Moral compass: Meditations, by Marcus Aurelius.  What occupation, other than your own, do you most admire? Those that care for children and the elderly.  How do you relieve stress? Kitesurfing.  What ingredient is essential to your perfect vacation? Time and family.

What was your first paying job? United States Air Force.  What’s prominently featured on your home or office wall? Photos of my family.  Besides your parents, who has had the greatest influence on your life? My children.  What’s the best advice you received growing up? Nothing ventured, nothing gained.  What is your go-to source of creative inspiration? My children.  

What change are you working on to effect in your profession or field? 

Heightened awareness of the struggles faced by students in Los Angeles.

What change would you like to see in the world? Greater compassion and trust.  Personal mission: Helping creating opportunities for amazing students.
