Passing the New York state bar exam. Hobbies: Reading, travelling, gym, swimming.  Recent travel or adventure: Barbados.  Recently viewed and recommended: Martha, Succession, Billions.  Recent unique acquisition: Various photographs that I recently had framed.  

Personality profile: Confident, intelligent, creative, focused.  Born leader and problem solver; thrives under pressure.  Moral compass: Kabbalah teachings and lessons.  How do you define a perfect friendship? Loyal, trustworthy and non-pretentious.  What is your greatest fear? Failure and mediocrity.  What is your guilty pleasure? My art collection and cars.  What occupation, other than your own, do you most admire? Actors and scientists.  What is your favorite place (or way) to spend money? Traveling and great food.  What ingredient is essential to your perfect vacation? The ocean.

What was your favorite childhood toy or game? Toy soldiers, playing soccer and basketball. What movie have you repeatedly watched? All three Godfather movies, the Devil’s Advocate, 24 Hour Party People.  What’s prominently featured on your home or office wall? A large photograph of Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert.  What’s the best advice you received growing up? Never stop doing what made you successful just because you found something new.  Do both if possible.  What’s the best advice you received in your career? Life can be random, uncaring, and unfair.  Always try to hedge your position as best as you can.  What company or organization do you most admire? Renaissance Technologies and Real Madrid.  What world event has had the greatest influence on your life? The creation of the internet.

What is your big idea?

A screenplay that summarizes the moral decay that is occurring all around us.

What change are you working on to effect in your profession or field? Greater accessibility of good criminal defense for the poor.  What change would you like to see in the world? Less dependence on social media, more truth telling, a greater appreciation for the arts.  What message do you want to send out into the world? Every day brings you closer to death, so live with meaning and purpose.  What mega-trend most concerns you? America is becoming an oligarchy.

What title would you choose for the movie about your life? You Can Have It All.  What actor would you choose to play you in the movie about your life? Daniel Craig.  Who would you like to spend an evening with, in heaven? Frank Sinatra or Marlon Brando.  As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? A wealthy businessman.  After your loved ones, what object would you first save from your burning home? My favorite Marc Chagall painting.  How would you choose to spend tomorrow, if you knew it was your last day on earth? On a beach in the Caribbean.  What advice would you give your younger self? Don’t be too hard on yourself.

Personal mission: To grow in every way possible.  To build on my current success and create even more success in other areas.  Personal motto: Never talk about what you want to do, just do it.  Stay humble and focused.  Favorite quote: “If you want the high-altitude returns, you must be prepared to go where the eagles dare” (Bobby Axelrod, Billions).  Desired epitaph: He lived and did it his way.
