Personality profile: Energetic, enthusiastic, thoughtful, giving.  What one word would your closest friend use to describe you? Tough.  How do you define a perfect friendship? Honesty develops trust. Rooting for that person’s success and there for them when they are down.  What is your greatest joy? Watching others, children and friends, having success.  What is your greatest fear? Going back to poverty.  What word or phrase do you use far too often? I got that done. How do you relieve stress? Getting in a great workout.  What is your go-to workout? Swimming and biking are my favorites.

What was your first paying job? Paperboy at age eight.  What was your favorite college course? Logic.  What was your favorite childhood toy or game? Basketball.  What personal circumstance has had the greatest influence on your life? At age 11, my dad said to me, "You will end up in the coal mines if you don’t dedicate yourself to sports and school."

What is your big idea?

I have a few that are private because they’re in the process.

What change would you like to see in the world? News outlets being less biased one way or another.  What message do you want to send out into the world? Work hard, show honesty, and don’t ever give up.

What title would you choose for the movie about your life? Kindly Persistent.  What actor would you choose to play you in the movie about your life? Matt Damon.  Who would you like to spend an evening with, in heaven? Mom.  What advice would you give your younger self? Don’t let your poor and tough environment change your opinion of yourself as you relate to others.

Personal mission: First, always thinking about and helping others.  Personal motto: You can forgive everyone, as long as they don’t purposely hurt you for their own benefit.  Favorite quote: "It’s a great day to be alive and a great day to be an American”(Bernie McGowan).
