Starting my own company, Guide to HR.  Hobbies: Kayaking, tennis, traveling and reading.  Recent travel or adventure: Visited nine states to consider as our new home location.  Last book read: Do Hard Things: Why We Get Resilience Wrong and the Surprising Science of Real Toughness, by Steve Magness.

Personality profile: Promoter, achiever, relator; responsibility, positivity; restorative.  Moral compass: The Bible.  What is your greatest joy? My family and the holidays.  What is your guilty pleasure? Bread.  What occupation, other than your own, do you most admire? First responders.  What is your favorite place (or way) to spend money? Travel.  How do you relieve stress? Taking a spa day.  What is your go-to workout? Pilates.

What was your first paying job? Hostess at Cocos.  What movie have you repeatedly watched? The Saint.  What’s prominently featured on your home or office wall? A picture and a wood map of Lake Tahoe, CA.  What modern technology innovation do you most appreciate? Running water and A/C.  What is your favorite app? Pinterest.  What personal circumstance has had the greatest influence on your life? Learning from my single-parent mother who worked so hard to provide for her family.

What change are you working on to effect in your profession or field?

Giving People Operations support to companies that are not aware they can get quality support to build their organization.

What change would you like to see in the world? More kindness, appreciation for each other, and grace.  What message do you want to send out into the world? Take a moment before you take action to consider if that action is kindhearted.

Who would you like to spend an evening with, in heaven? My grandfather.  After your loved ones, what object would you first save from your burning home? Family memorabilia.  How would you choose to spend tomorrow, if you knew it was your last day on earth? In a mountain cabin during a snow storm with a roaring fire in the fireplace, hot chocolate in one hand and a book in the other, with a cat on my lap and my husband by my side.  What advice would you give your younger self? Don’t be afraid to connect with people and build your network.  What day in your life would you choose to re-live? My wedding day.
