What’s been your big (or biggest leap)? Starting Precedent Wealth Partners.  Hobbies: Sports Memorabilia.  Spending time with our children.  Last book read: Into Thin Air, by Jon Krakauer.  Recently viewed and recommended: Presumed Innocent.

Personality profile: Gregarious, decisive, loyal.  Moral compass: The Bible.  How do you define an ideal business relationship? Working with someone who balances my strengths and weaknesses, and vice versa.  Aligned values.  What is your greatest joy? My relationship with Jesus, my wife and children.  What natural talent have you neglected? I was talented in music in high school, but have neglected it as an adult (and regret it!).  What occupation, other than your own, do you most admire? Engineers. Long-time employees in the energy sector.  What is your favorite place (or way) to spend money? Sports memorabilia (specifically baseball).  Investing in the financial markets (stocks).  How do you relieve stress? Working – I love my job and my clients.

What was your first paying job? Pizza delivery.  What was your favorite childhood toy or game? A World War II board game called Axis & Allies.  I love WWII history.  What movie have you repeatedly watched? Apollo 13.  What’s prominently featured on your home or office wall? Baseball memorabilia and pictures of my family.  What is your go-to source of news and information? The Wall Street Journal.

What is your big idea?

To create the tightest level of client/firm alignment in the wealth management space.

What change are you working on to effect in your profession or field? Our WillShare program.   What change would you like to see in the world? I would like more people to realize faith in God.  If not faith, then at a minimum, respect for Him.  What mega-trend most concerns you? The trend to believe misinformation on social media (or elsewhere) without thinking for one’s self.

As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? A professional baseball player or golfer.  How would you choose to spend tomorrow, if you knew it was your last day on earth? With my wife eating amazing food and with my friend Drew exchanging movie quotes and laughing.  What advice would you give your younger self? Stop complaining – work harder, be grateful for what God has given you.  What day in your life would you choose to re-live? The birth of my kids.  What period in your life would you do differently, if you could? My twenties.
