Current project: Working on a photography exhibit and handheld zine of my images. Recent recognition: Selections for international juried photography exhibitions at Praxis Photo Arts Center. Latest contribution to others: Consulting tattoo artists on how to use camera gear for specific purposes. Hobbies: Tennis, basketball, hiking, rock climbing, making collages and organizing photoshoots with friends. Last book read: Understanding a Photograph, by John Berger. Recent unique acquisition: A Zenza Bronica SQ-A medium-format film camera.

Personality profile: Imaginative, determined, humorous, organized, meticulous, patient and kind-hearted. What one word would your closest friend use to describe you? Adaptable. Moral compass: John Walter Wayland's description of the true gentleman. What is your greatest joy? Creating images of people that beautify and honor them. What is your favorite place (or way) to spend money? Rolls of 35mm and 120 film.

What was your favorite college course? Cultural Anthropology. What movie have you repeatedly watched? The Lord of the Rings trilogy. What is your go-to source of creative inspiration? Graffiti and street art, museums and art galleries and watching friends draw and tattoo. What personal circumstance has had the greatest influence on your life? Studying abroad in Tunisia and Italy.

What change would you like to see in the world?

A greater appreciation of the variety of the human experience. What message do you want to send out into the world? Altruism, compassion and love toward other people will expand and enrich your life in ways you cannot predict. What mega-trend most concerns you? Young people relying on AI to move through the educational system.

Who would you like to spend an evening with, in heaven? Anthony Bourdain. As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? An astronaut or a National Geographic photographer. After your loved ones, what object would you first save from your burning home? My cameras, film negatives and hard drives of images. What day in your life would you choose to re-live? The day my family spent in Sacile, the town where I was born in Italy.
