Personality profile: Dependable, friendly, and easygoing.  What one word would your closest friend use to describe you? Honest.  What is your greatest joy? Seeing young athletes grow in confidence.  What word or phrase do you use far too often? No worries.  What occupation, other than your own, do you most admire? Teachers.  What is at the top of your bucket list? Trip to Alaska.  What is your go-to workout? Light strength training and outdoor activity.

What was your first paying job? BioReference Laboratories.  What was your favorite childhood toy or game? Nintendo 64.  What movie have you repeatedly watched? Remember the Titans. What’s prominently featured on your home or office wall? Photos from coaching seasons and family.  Besides your parents, who has had the greatest influence on your life? My older brother.  What’s the best advice you received growing up? Show up on time and give your best effort.  What is your go-to source of creative inspiration? Nature and time spent outdoors.

Creating community programs that blend recreation with mentorship.

What change would you like to see in the world? More community involvement at the local level.  What message do you want to send out into the world? Small acts of consistency make a big impact.  What widely held belief do you reject? That success requires perfection.  What mega-trend most concerns you? Technology replacing real human connection.

What actor would you choose to play you in the movie about your life? Mark Wahlberg.  As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? A paleontologist.  What advice would you give your younger self? Enjoy the moment, you’ll miss it later.  What day in your life would you choose to re-live? Winning a championship with the team I coached.
