Generous-hearted.  Moral compass: What would Big Mama say?  How do you define an ideal business relationship? Trust and mutual growth.  What is your greatest joy? Watching my boys become independent fabulous men.  What word or phrase do you use far too often? That’s awesome!  What occupation, other than your own, do you most admire? Teachers.  What is your favorite place (or way) to spend money? On great champagne, to enjoy with friends.

Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind, by Shunryu Suzuki.  What’s prominently featured on your home or office wall? My kids’ art.  Besides your parents, who has had the greatest influence on your life? My husband and true partner, Alex Brown.  What’s the best advice you received growing up? Always be yourself.  What is your favorite app? NYT Crossword.  

What change are you working on to effect in your profession or field?

Bringing back true connection in the doctor-patient relationship.

What message do you want to send out into the world? In the words of Martin Luther King: “the time is always right to do what is right.”  What mega-trend most excites you? Digital disruption – connectivity.  What mega-trend most concerns you? Digital disruption - data security.

Who would you like to spend an evening with, in heaven? Big Mama, God rest her soul.  As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? A lawyer for the Mob.  After your loved ones, what object would you first save from your burning home? Leo, my stuffed lion of 46 years.  How would you choose to spend tomorrow, if you knew it was your last day on earth? Just like today, because you never know.  What period in your life would you do differently, if you could? A gap year before medical school would have been epic.
