What’s been your big (or biggest leap)? Taking a job in a place that I wanted to live, but where I didn’t know a single soul.  Hobbies: Reading, crosswords, cooking, hiking, closet-organizing.  Recent travel or adventure: Snowmobiling on a glacier in Iceland.  Way beyond my comfort zone.  Recently viewed and recommended: Ozark.  

What one word would your closest friend use to describe you? Fastidious.  How do you define a perfect friendship? Having a shorthand that lets you pick up right where you left off, no matter how much time has passed.  What is your greatest joy? My family.  What is your greatest fear? Rats.  What is your guilty pleasure? Mac and cheese.  What is at the top of your bucket list? A year abroad.  What is your go-to workout? Hiking or walking in the woods.

What was your first paying job? Selling clothes at The Limited.  What was your favorite childhood toy or game? The play kitchen that my dad made for my sister and me.  What movie have you repeatedly watched? Empire Records.  What’s prominently featured on your home or office wall? Kid handprints.  Always, no matter how much I clean.  What’s the best advice you received growing up? Say yes to new experiences.  What is your favorite app? Libby, so I always have a library book with me.  What is your go-to source of news and information?  Then a couple others that feature non-celebrity news.  What is your go-to source of creative inspiration? Nature.  What world event has had the greatest influence on your life? 9/11.

What change are you working on to effect in your profession or field? Mentoring rising talent in hopes of seeing more women in leadership roles.  What change would you like to see in the world? transformation in our approach to climate change.  What message do you want to send out into the world? Conscientiously making sustainable choices, however small, can make a difference.  What mega-trend most excites you? AI.  What mega-trend most concerns you? AI.

What actor would you choose to play you in the movie about your life? Amy Schumer.  Who would you like to spend an evening with, in heaven? The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.  As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? A rich lady who rode a unicorn.  After your loved ones, what object would you first save from your burning home? A box with saved letters, cards and concert ticket stubs.  How would you choose to spend tomorrow, if you knew it was your last day on earth? Glamping in a tiny cabin with my husband and kids.  What day in your life would you choose to re-live? Any day of my junior year in college.  

Personal mission: Responsible recycling and finding ways to give items a second life (before adding to a landfill).  Personal motto: Lead with kindness.  Favorite quote: “I can’t remember all the times I tried to tell myself to hold on to these moments as they pass” (Adam Duritz).
