Big personal goal: After picking up golf a few years ago, I aspire to start the women’s senior tour. Personality profile: Accused of being an extrovert.  What one word would your closest friend use to describe you? Bad ass.  Moral compass: Keep and clear rear-view mirror.  How do you define a perfect friendship? Welcoming, silly, appreciative.  Cherish one another and our time, even when it’s limited.  How do you define an ideal business relationship? Forthright, honest, transparent, reasonable.  What is your guilty pleasure? Queso.  What is your favorite place (or way) to spend money? Experiences with family.  What is your go-to workout? Walking the dogs. What ingredient is essential to your perfect vacation? My husband.

What was your first paying job? Working for my dad, pulling staples and filing documents.  What was your favorite childhood toy or game? Riding bikes; pick-up games of baseball or basketball. What movie have you repeatedly watched? Maverick; Top Gun.  What’s prominently featured on your home or office wall? Latest art projects by my kids.  Besides your parents, who has had the greatest influence on your life? My Grandma.  What is your go-to source of news and information? Associated Press.  What personal circumstance has had the greatest influence on your life? Leaving New Mexico to go to school in Kansas, where I knew only one other person.

What is your big idea?

Become THE resource for kids and women to keep us empowered and informed about what’s happening to our bodies and brains from puberty through menopause.

What change are you working on to effect in your profession or field? To be more purposeful in the work I am doing and in the opportunities I am creating.  What change would you like to see in the world? Less time spent on devices and apps.  What widely held belief do you reject? That an abortion is now illegal in many states.

What title would you choose for the movie about your life? Well, What Do We Have Here?  As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? A veterinarian.  What advice would you give your younger self? Chill out and enjoy the ride.  What period in your life would you do differently, if you could? None, as that would completed change where I am today.
